Avs Overcome Lightning

It was looking pretty bleak for Colorado in the third period tonight. The Avs were on the brink of losing back-to-back 1-0 games. However, Wojtek Wolski saved the Avs another embarrassment and led them to the win.
With 7:49 remaining, Wolski was planted in front of the goalie when Paul Stastny centered a pass to the net and it deflected off Wolski to tie the game at one. The Avs held onto the rest of the way and the game went to a shootout.
Wolski was the hero again when he netted the only goal in the entire shootout. Craig Anderson stopped all three shots he faced. Andy finished the night with 21 saves and did a good job of keeping the Avs in the game.
